MGR Mike

Nashville-based DJ and producer MGR Mike has spent more than two decades exploring the intersection of funk, disco, soul, and house music. His connection to disco started early: at age 12, the first song he learned on guitar was Gloria Gaynor's "I Will Survive." Since beginning his production journey in 2004 and stepping behind the decks in 2015, he's made it his mission to bring disco's unmistakable energy to a new generation of dance floors.

His productions have earned DJ support from Jamie Jones, Purple Disco Machine, Mark Knight, Claptone, salute, Paco Osuna, Shiba San, StoneBridge, and more. Alongside his own headlining performances across North America—including Mexico City, Denver, Austin, New York, and beyond—he's shared lineups with A-Trak, LF System, Dombresky, Classixx, Never Dull, RJD2, Chromeo, and Yung Bae.

Behind the decks, MGR Mike blends original productions, underground disco-house discoveries, and timeless classics into sets that connect generations, honoring the roots of dance music while introducing its sound to new audiences.

As a founding member of Discoluminati, he's helping build a creative community dedicated to pushing disco and house music forward. His work also includes Sparkle Motion Recordings, his record label and publishing company, and Midnight Velvet, an event series celebrating funk, disco, and house music.

At the heart of it all is a simple goal: bring people together through music and keep disco's spirit alive on dance floors everywhere.
